Bonnie is a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawai‘i with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare. She is a Certified Care Manager by the National Association of Certified Care Managers and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality by the National Association for Healthcare Quality. Bonnie is Co-Founder, of Ho‘okele Personal Health Planners, LLC and is passionate about improving the state of quality patient care for the people of Hawai‘i by helping and teaching individuals how to advocate for themselves.

• Bonnie started her career in nursing in 1974 as a staff nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Honolulu in ICU and home care.
• She became a leader in the healthcare quality field in 1989 as the director of quality management at Kapi‘olani Medial Center at Pali Momi and progressively rose to Vice President of Quality at Kapi‘olani’s parent company, Hawai‘i Pacific Health, in 2004.
• She is the currently the President of the Hawaii Association of Case Managers. Bonnie is also an active charter and Board member of the Kahala Sunrise Rotary Club.
