Jan 19, 2012 What is new in Wound Care

Happy New Year!  Our first meeting of the 2012 year will begin with a welcome to any new members and a short business meeting followed by the installation of the new members to the Board of Directors.

Our guest speaker will be Aiea Lorin, the clinical specialist for American Medical Technologies.  She will be updating us on what is new in wound care and showing us new products being used to care for our seniors and disabled with wound care needs.  Please join us for this informative and enlightening meeting.  Great networking opportunity along with light refreshments served.

Our guest speaker is currently a professor at UH School of Nursing and also is practicing at Leahi and Maluhia Long Term Care facilities.  Valisa will share about what is happening at the UH School of Nursing and her experiences working in long term care facilities.
